Experienced Management, Local Ownership

Tradition Senior Living is a Texas limited partnership, engaged solely in the development, construction and management of a growing number of Tradition senior living developments. The Tradition-Prestonwood location was opened to residents in June, 2010. Watch for additional Tradition Senior Living communities in your neighborhood. Management and construction are administered in-house with personnel who have corporate-level experience in the senior living industry.

Jonathan Perlman, Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Jonathan Perlman has worked in the senior living industry for the past 15 years. He has experience in all phases of the business and has negotiated and structured financing for senior living properties with private equity participants (institutions and individuals), conventional banks, insurance companies and major Wall Street institutions. Prior to founding Tradition Senior Living, LP, Jonathan was involved in the development, finance, construction, marketing and management of nine senior housing projects totaling more than 1,800 units.

Jonathan graduated from Baylor University with a BBA in Finance and received his JD in 1992 from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. After receiving his law degree, Jonathan joined the law firm of Vinson & Elkins, LLP. Between undergraduate school and law school, Jonathan was the first round draft choice of the Chicago Cubs and played Major League Baseball as a pitcher with the Chicago Cubs, San Francisco Giants and Cleveland Indians
